Thinking of you

Hello there!

Since this is my first blog post and I’m absolutely new to the blogging world I’d like to take the opportunity to thank to all of those “crafty” people out there who inspired me to begin this journey. Guys – you are awesome!

Today I would like to share with you my summer inspired project – a bright colour card featuring  layered plastic embellishments from 49 and Market and ever beautiful Wild Orchid Crafts paper flowers.

Scrapbooking paper I used in this project comes from Makowe Pole “Rara Avis” collection  and I chose it because of it’s gorgeous watercolour effect, which always reminds me of this time of the year. It also works nicely with stamps and in this case I used one of Gabrielle Pollacco’s Hibiscus Set.

I applied two layers of multi matt medium onto all of plastic embellishments ( leaves and dragonfly ) in order to bring their natural shine down a little and added some sisal and raffia bow to finish off this composition.

Thank you for stopping by!
