I’ve chosen to make a delicate page with a gorgeous photo of Marilyn Monroe, which I’ve learnt isn’t that of Marilyn at all.

Ja zdecydowałam się zrobić delikatny layout z prześlicznym zdjęciem Marilyn Monroe, które najwyraźniej wcale nie jest jej zdjęciem. 

Feeling intrigued yet? Well, apparently the photo is a digitally manipulated fake and consists of the face of Marilyn blended into a portrait of a woman with a cat. The debunked picture collage pinned by Marijane Gray can be found on Pinterest.

Zaintrygowani? Otóż okazuje się, że zdjęcie to fotomontaż, na którym twarz Marilyn została wtopiona w portret kobiety z kotem. Kolaż zdjęć demaskujący fotomontaż można znaleźć przypięty przez Marijane Gray na Pinterest.

Of course the fact that the picture has been photoshopped does not make it any less beautiful and captivating. And at the end of the day it was the picture that inspired my layout.

Oczywiście fakt, że zdjęcie jest montażem wcale nie czyni go mniej pięknym i interesującym. W końcu to właśnie ono zainspirowało mnie do stworzenia tej pracy.
